Data Dictionary – Sports Players Statistics

 

As part of the player Sports Statistics you can design a database to store and analyze sports statistics for any sport that you would desire. For example if you chose baseball (the most intensive statistics) – you would need to design a database to capture the data as listed at

http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/

If you wanted to deal with soccer you would need to capture the player (not team) statistics laid out at

http://www.whoscored.com/Statistics

or for football the statistics are at

http://www.nfl.com/stats/player

From the data you would need to design a database centered around the player that captures the statistics. You will be using this database in future assignments and event posting your results.
